You know the drill walk in, look at the menu and try to stay focused on ordering and not all yummy treats surrounding you.

This is our second visit here, since I’m really not all that hungry I get the choose 2. New England Clam Chowder, Ceasar Salad and a sourdough roll (yum!!!). Since my first visit was so good (still need to post that) I was a little disappointed tonight. The salad was not as cold and crisp as I like, but was tasty and just the right amount. The Chowder was good, but a little thin (kinda watery). The bread was a total hit. Crunchy outside and soft and fresh tasting on the inside.

My Partner in Crime had the Chicken Avocado BLT choosing the sourdough roll as the side. Reporting that it could have had more bacon. Sourdough bread was not spongy and had good texture. The chicken was good, but a little more would have been better.

They have a beverage bar, so you can choose your poison. They even have iced coffee.

They should try and stay up on the dining room cleanup. Noticed on both trips it was messy and tables had plates and whatnot so you couldn’t sit there.

The party next to us had a slip up on a sandwich, the female employee was drilling the customer on her experience at the register. Well did they read your order back to you? They are suppose to so it’s right. Granted they made good on it but still, not cool. As a rule, we as customers really don’t wanna hear what’s suppose to happen.

This was our first time here. I for one was pleasantly surprised.

We mentioned to the cashier that this was our first time here. He recommended a few things and said since we were early there was still time to take advantage of the lunch specials.

I got the pizza/salad/beverage special. Unlike other places that allow 1 or 2 toppings on the pizza. Me~N~Ed’s toppings are UNLIMITED!!! What??? The salad plate was good sized.

When I bit into my pizza I was like….omg this is really good. Perfect mixture of crispy and softness and the flavor…. yumm… this puts this in my top favorites.

The salad bar was neat, well stocked and had a nice variety. Definatly one of the better ones we have been to.

Sweetie ordered the calzone/salad/beverage special. SP is a meat eater so the meat calzone was the winner.

The calzone arrived hot, but not too hot the dough was seasoned with butter, which was a pleasant surprise. The toppings were plentiful and lasted until the last bite. It had a different texture to it, which was a plus.

I took a bite of the calzone and was so impressed I wished I had gotten one as well. Maybe next time I will stray from my love of pizza and partake in a calzone.

Both these were under $8 and worth every cent.

This is a place we will for sure be visiting again.

We were greeted and seated promptly when we arrived @ 11.

Our server for today was Giselle, she kept our drinks full and the service was fast and friendly.

We opted to get the 2 for $20 deal.

For our appetizer we chose the Potato Twisters. They are always good and that cheese sauce is so yummy! SP thought the twisters should be seasoned. Being that I need to stay away from as much sodium as possible, I thought they were good plain. I mean you have that amazing cheese dip to slather them in.

I was undecided on which entre’ to choose. It was between the Riblett Basket w/fries, the Oriental Chicken Salad or the Chicken / Shrimp plate. I decided to get the ribletts with the southern bbq sauce. The ribs were moist, the sauce was kinda bland, will try a different flavor next time, but definitely good. The fries were seasoned just right and were crispy on the outside and just right in the inside, u know not to dry and bountiful.

SP got the Chicken Tenders Platter which included cole slaw and french fries. SP says the slaw was crisp and fresh tasting. The slaw sauce was on the mild side meaning it was not overwhelming. We both had the same opinion on the fries. Chicken tenders had the right amount of breading they were moist and tasty and the ranch put it over the top.

We were here for my sons birthday dinner, party of 10 plus a 9 month old.

We went during what is called Twlight, which means if you go Sunday thru Thursday 3:00pm – 5:30pm and order any beverage except water, your meal is half off. Not a bad deal at all, especially when they are not too pricey to begin with.

The restaurant looked clean and had a good atmosphere.

It was though, a little dark in the dining area for our liking.

I had the combination platter with 1 item which is priced @ $9. I opted for the chili rellano. This to me was one of the better ones, I really like chili rellanos, but have a hard time finding any that are good. This is one that I would order again. It was a good sized chili that had a little kick to it and was not overtaken
by the cheese, breading or sauce. Definately a good balance. The rice was good, the beans tasted as though they were probably home made, were not too heavy and had cheese on them.

The salsa was tasty and on the mellow side the chips were so so.

Sweety had the combination platter with 2 items priced @ $11. Chicken Flautas tasty, could have had more chicken in them, but good sized and filling. The
Beef Enchilada was good, and thought the enchilada sauce was not to saucy.
Beans tasted as though grandma was in the back making them, they had a good consistency and flavor the rice was not sticky and tasted good as well. Thought the chips could have been better. Salsa was good and not too tomatoee (is that even a word? lol).

The waiter did an excellent job, kept our glasses full and our food arrived at the same time. Seriously, how many times is there always one person left on the late train?

We had the whole section to ourselves, which could have contributed to our early dinner, but with a little one it worked out well.

Overall, Cisco’s get a 3.75 rating out if 5.
